- Creating B2B websites for the car dealers to sell and buy their branded vehicles auction cars without the dealer actually owning them. The cars would be parked in BCA’s auction centres and then manufacturers would have the opportunity to buy them before they went for auction, on behalf of their customer, at a discounted price.
- Working on the BCA Europe Responsive website.
- Working on the British Car Auctions Responsive website. This was a UK only site as the business processes and client(User) processes were, at the time, extremely different to Europe. So much so it warranted a whole different front end. The overall look and feel followed the BCA Europe brand guidelines.
UX/UI Designer from prototyping to implementation.
Standard Process when working with other Brands
We’d work with each individual manufacturer so we could create something that would work with their internal processes. I’d base my wireframes and prototypes on research that we’d receive from a different team and then eventually go on to working closely with the manufactures Brand Guidelines. Sometimes our research was done in-house, which meant I could get more involved from the beginning but other times. as we worked closely with the dealers and manufactures they had their own research and persons of their employees and processes. I’d regularly visit dealers for interviewing and testing prototypes during our development sprints.
